Girls Leadership is an empowerment movement teaching girls in grades K-12 leadership skills and self-confidence. This organization has programs and classes to teach families and women about the importance of gender equality rooted in a social emotional learning atmosphere. https://girlsleadership.org
Interstingly, I feel like there are enough of these kind of self-confindence and leadership organizaitons already in existence. However, Girls Leadership says, "There are 25 million K-12th grade girls in the United States. If you combine the efforts of all national girl-serving organizations, they collectively are only reaching about three million, or about 12% of the country’s girls, leaving a staggering 22 million girls in the US without support. Girls Leadership’s bold goal is to close that gap."
In addition to working with about 100,000 girls per year and their families, Girls Leadership also has workshops for teachers, guidance counselors and other non-profit staff to teach them how to support the students.
